Joaquina Salgado is a digital artist, VJ and mulitmedia designer specializing in 3D world-building and immersive experiences, including VR. In 2018 she graduated from the National University of La Plata as a multimedia designer.
She now teaches live image creation at UNLP and the Recoleta Cultural Centre. Her immersive VR experience Lawentuchefe, recently installed at the Kirchner Cultural Centre in Buenos Airies and the Konex Cultural Centre, is inspired by the experiences of the Indigenous women of the Patagonian region of Argentina and their connection with nature.
