(taxes and fees included)The MUTEK Recorder is a real-time research experiment that captures, filters, and analyzes the 2021 MUTEK Forum through daily broadcasts and a sustained publishing sprint. Hosted by musician and writer Claire L. Evans, each episode will share key Forum findings and research methods from a special guest
In this episode, HOLO is joined by the Zürich-based artist, designer, and educator Jürg Lehni. Quietly, making his mark on digital art over the last two decades, Lehni has mobilized Hektor, Rita, and Viktor, a series of quirky drawing machines, as platforms for research on representation and histories of technology. Parallel to his robotic storytelling, he has made open (software) tools for others, including the prescient proto-generative art Adobe Illustrator plug-in Scriptographer and, more recently, browser-based Paper.js.
