As a seasoned executive and scholar, Catalina Briceno (she/her) addresses the digital transition of the media and cultural industries in her research work. Her expertise is based on 20 years’ hands-on experience as an executive producer, followed by decision-making positions within government-related organizations. She is currently a professor at the School of Media of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) where she teaches Media Economy, Strategic watch and Foresight, as well as Information and Network architecture. Briceno is also co-author of the book Parents living in a world of Screens, published at Éditions de l’Homme (2019).
