Deena Abdelwahed, a Tunisian artist based in France, invites the audience to the heart of the enchanting rhythms of the Maghreb and the Middle East, skillfully blending tradition and modernity. Returning to Montreal after her notable appearance at the MUTEK festival, Deena Abdelwahed promises a new irresistible performance.
Liliane Chlela, a Lebanese DJ and producer based in Montreal, stands out with her bold and innovative approach to sound. She pushes the limits of the auditory experience, creating a dialogue between alternative beats and electronic sounds, making her performance a unique sensory exploration.
Nahash, the musical project of Raphaël Valensi, emerges as an emblematic figure of alternative events in Montreal. His music, both experimental and immersive, promises a sonic journey, captivating the audience and transporting them into an atmosphere where creativity reigns.
By bringing together these three artists with rich and diverse universes, the evening promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, exploring the boundaries of creativity and inviting the public to dive into an unforgettable sonic alchemy.
This event is part of the Regards de femmes : carte blanche à l'Institut du monde arabe program of the International Festival of Films on Art.
