KIKK Festival returns to Namur, Belgium for four days of live music, audio-visual explorations, talks, and workshops featuring artists and creators from across the global digital scene.
Among the 15th anniversary lineup are three Québec and Canadian artists bringing boundary-pushing works to the stage:
- Guillaume Coutu Dumont & Line Katcho present Les Empires, an illusory audio-visual journey through fractured narratives of fictional civilizations.
- Martin Messier performs 1 drop 1000 years, manipulating water in real-time in a masterful performance charting the tensions of human-driven climate change. He’ll also present Astronomical Water, a similarly perception-challenging installation.
- Sarah Davachi brings her alternative approach to the organ in a live performance built on extended durations and alternate tuning systems.
Co-presented by MUTEK with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
