Noah Elliott Perkins, aka 16:9 ratio, is an Ottawa-based DJ, producer, and designer. He is better known as being part of the hyperpop band Los3r, and also operates as Geunf.
Coming back from a residency in Albania in 2024, Noah desired a more introspective counterpart to his other projects, and 16:9 ratio was born. Integrating his architectural background into his music practice, the project bases itself in real sound environments as the starting point of all its compositions. Glitch-laden field recordings, bold sound-collage, and heart-tugging synths carry the listeners of 16:9 ratio through digital renderings of lifelong memories—a more emotional understanding of Perkins’s mind.
In March 2024, he released his debut album, Our Keyboards, on the net-label surf. The record moves through emotive and experimental terrain, borrowing pop structures to build a highly climactic body of work shaped by contrast; from lush, expressive ambient trance to dense walls of experimental noise. His music has also appeared on compilation releases for international ambient labels including XVIENCE (Japan) and soak (Kazakhstan). Noah is a frequent collaborator with Ottawa’s Debaser, performing as part of their Pique festival in winter 2025 as well as their annual Drone Day series.

Drawing from his latest album Our Keyboards, he reshapes its songs through live vocals and hardware improvisation, carving out a space where moments of reflection emerge though lush ambient textures, stripped-down dub structures, and glitchy interludes.
