Arbor is an artist interested in light as a medium of expression—to produce, shape, and sequence light using existing or newly invented luminaires. Through the coordination of light in time, he creates works that blur the boundaries between performance, installation, and artifact across diverse environments and contexts. His approach often yields new tools that serve as both means and forms of expression.

Tzu Ni is a Taiwanese artist currently based in the Netherlands. She believes in the flexibility of human bodies and views the intersection of technology and humanity as a sweet spot, seeking the balance between institutional and non-institutional contexts. Her practice explores the entangled relationship between sound, gender, and space, often through multichannel sonic installations, field recordings, and text-based narratives that emerge from subconscious memory. Working at the intersection of embodied listening and spatial poetics, she constructs environments where sound becomes a medium of intimacy, resistance, and relational knowledge.

Arbor and Tzu NiDiffusion
Live A/V | World premiere

Arbor and Tzu Ni deconstruct the digital image in Diffusion, exploring the pixel as both source of light and unit of meaning. Beginning where the image ends, they treat darkness as encoded data and listening as a way of knowing, staging a real-time feedback system between light, sound, image, and space. Through sonic diffusion, resonance, and spatial transmission, the work approaches sound not as accompaniment to the image, but as an unstable atmospheric force that continuously reshapes perception.

TW: This performance uses flashing and flickering patterns, high-frequency sounds, and rapid changes in light and sound intensity.
