A lighting designer with a background in architecture, Arnaud Belley-Ferris creates sensory stage environments where spatial thinking meets emotional resonance. Originally drawn to Montréal by its thriving concert scene, he began his career as a lighting technician at MTELUS previously known as Métropolis. Over the past 15 years, this initial spark evolved into a creative practice that bridges architectural discipline, technical expertise, and a deeply intuitive sense of visual storytelling.

His work is defined by a sculptural approach to light—treating it as a dynamic material that shapes rhythm, depth, and atmosphere. From intimate performances to large-scale productions, he crafts visual experiences that echo and enhance the sound. Belley-Ferris has collaborated with major festivals such as Osheaga, Igloofest, Ilesoniq, MUTEK Montréal and MUTEK Mexico, and toured with artists including Matt Holubowski, Klô Pelgag, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Les Hay Babies and Bobby Bazini.
