Cora NovoaES/CAT
Cora Novoa's nonstop energy multiplies through sinuous DJ sets, studio releases with a strong conceptual component, and a wealth of work beyond musical creation. Since bursting onto the European circuit in 2008, Cora has turned techno, bass, and the darkest currents of the club into elements for her own narrative, full of power and sensitivity.
This year at MUTEK, Cora Novoa presents to the Montréal public the modular audiovisual show that led her to festivals such as Sonar Barcelona, Tate-Modern Museum or Magnetic Fields India. This new live project is based on current concepts such as dystopia, techno-ethics, artificial intelligence and censorship. Fans of rave textures and dark techno will be charmed by its powerful visuals of great richness.
