Hardcore visionary Kilbourne and mutant techno explorer Relaxer come together as Cry, a new project merging their respective journeys through New York’s sprawling DIY underground scenes.
First forged in New York’s grindcore scene, Kilbourne’s hardcore techno sound was destined to devastate, earning her recognition for DJ sets marked by unrelenting drive and hard-hitting selections.
Running a parallel path through the punk/noise underground, Daniel Martin-McCormick, aka Relaxer, brings a sensual, visceral edge to electronic production, knitting strands of wormhole techno and UK hardcore continuum with fractured ambient sounds.
As Cry, the duo channel pure techno punk destruction, splitting vocal duties on top of heaving 140 bpm noise-caked brutality. Performing exclusively in-the-round at destabilizing volumes, they bring a violent, basement show ferocity to soundsystem music, cut with rare moments of tensile beauty.

For their Canadian debut, the duo perform a hard-hitting fusion of experimental techno and industrial noise, enveloping the audience in a shroud of abrasive texture and surging low-end force.
