As DELAVELOUR, Montréal-based artist François Lebaron has spent over two decades developing a refined take on electronic music—blending textured deep house, minimal techno, and hypnotic rhythms. A formative presence in Montréal’s electronic scene since the 1990s, he helped shape the local ecosystem as a DJ, event producer, and co-founder of Trigger Recording—Canada’s first independent electronic label to sign with Warner Music. His work has long served as a bridge between North American and European scenes.

Releases like the concept-driven Fishingindeeparea and the club-fueled Dice Roller, remixed by Blondish, show his ability to blend sonic precision with wide dancefloor appeal. He has performed at a variety of iconic venues—from Burning Man to Stereo Montréal—delivering fluid, immersive sets that balance both depth and energy. The DELAVELOUR project offers a more personal and exploratory outlet, complementing his work in other configurations like the duo Hoopalaï, with releases on Get Physical and Kindisch. He also founded Victims Music Company and co-founded AIM Festival, which brought internationally recognized acts to Québec.
