Kevin Saunderson stands as a cornerstone of techno’s origin story. As one of the Belleville Three, he helped define the Detroit sound, introducing the world to a new, futuristic rhythm through iconic projects like Inner City, his KMS label, and the pioneering e-Dancer alias. Known for innovations like the Reese bass and genre-defining tracks such as Heavenly, Saunderson has continually shaped the evolution of dance music over more than three decades.

His son, Dantiez Saunderson, carries this legacy forward with a distinct voice of his own. Born and raised in Detroit, he grew up immersed in the city’s creative pulse, blending the raw energy of classic techno with modern textures and grooves. As a producer and DJ, he has carved out a dynamic career, contributing to the revitalization of Inner City and earning acclaim for his sharp, groove-driven sound that moves effortlessly between underground depth and main-room momentum

Together, they reunite under the name e-Dancer—a project once synonymous with Kevin’s most experimental techno output, now reborn as a father-son collaboration.
