RICO X PARIA EnsembleCO/QC+CO
RICO RICA, aka mmmmrico, is a Colombian-Canadian DJ, singer-songwriter, and creative director whose explosive sound fuses Dembow, Guaracha, and Champeta with experimental electronics. Rooted in Barranquilla’s Carnival and the digital diaspora, their high-energy sets blend nostalgia with futurism, reimagining Latin folklore through a queer, club-focused lens. After a breakout with La Tetona (2023), they’ve toured globally and launched the Worldwide Baddies party series. A co-founder of Club Kadera and part of Paria Records, Rico builds platforms for QTBIPOC artists across continents. In 2025, they release a debut EP produced by Bclip, expanding their vision of Latinx futurist sound.
Emerging from the picó scene of Colombia’s Caribbean coast, Bclip is a producer, DJ, and live performer whose work defies genre. Raised in Soledad Atlántico, his sound—rooted in reggaetón, salsa, champeta, IDM, and hard house—embodies what he calls LA GRA$A: raw, urgent, and anti-light. First known as a ghost producer, he later carved his own path in Bogotá’s underground, connecting ghetto futurism with queer club energy. Co-founder of Boom Full Meke and Paria Records, Bclip distorts clichés of Latin music, building dystopian dancefloor narratives powered by deep research, sonic aggression, and the untamed spirit of the periphery.
