WAWATW + CA/UK
WAWA is a Taiwanese Canadian artist and producer based in London. Her EP FOUL TASTE was nominated for a 2025 Juno Award for Best Electronic Dance Album, and her track "SOUL" was played on BBC Radio 1's Introducing Dance. She has opened for Lim Giong, a pioneer of Taiwan's experimental music.
In London, she's at home in the city's grassroots venues, having played Planet Wax, the city’s essential drum and bass record shop, Flowers London, a queer rave event at Avalon Café, and hosting her own A/V night, core.reset with friends foto.sensitive and Remy at the George Tavern, a punk staple.
