The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) invites Québec producers to submit their immersive creation projects (virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed reality) for the 11th edition of Atelier Grand Nord XR (AGN XR), taking place from April 9 to 14, 2027 in the Eastern Townships, less than two hours from Montréal.

The workshop will be followed by two days of company visits in Montréal on April 15 and 16, 2027.

What is AGN XR?

An extension of the traditional Atelier Grand Nord screenwriting workshop, focusing on virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality.
Six days during which French-speaking creative teams behind selected projects from France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Québec have a unique opportunity to discuss their immersive projects with consultants, further develop their creative vision and exchange ideas and perspectives.
Opportunities to build connections and foster peer collaboration on future productions and co-productions.
A CAD $100,000 grant awarded to the selected Québec project teams to support the development of their expertise.

Eligible Projects

Québec-based immersive creation projects specifically designed for XR, currently in development and with a French-language version available. Full selection criteria are outlined in the call for projects.
