Analucia RoederPE
Immersive and intimate, Analucia Roeder’s (she/her) audiovisual metaverses invite you to contemplate and explore a random series of events, mixing colours and bodies. Experience driven, her graduate studies in film make her work climatic and engaging. From experimental documentaries to 3D renders and VR experiences, generative art and VJing, Roeder explores moving images playfully, with a deep compromise on auto representation. For the past years she has worked with different festivals and institutions, her documentary, Cocachauca (2016), won Most Innovative Film at CINECIEN, Argentina. A restless and constantly expanding imagination, she premiered her first solo VR experience, Inside A, in Sommerset House Studios. She is part of MUTEK’s Amplify D.A.I cohort since 2019 and is also a film professor in Lima, Perú, where she is currently living.
AMPLIFY D.A.I is an initiative of the British Council in partnership with MUTEK Montréal, MUTEK Buenos Aires, Artlab in Argentina, Oi Futuro in Brazil and Somerset House Studios in the UK. The programme is supported by Canada Council for the Arts, Instituto Nacional de la Música and Fundación Williams.
