Nathalie BachandCA/QC
Nathalie Bachand (she/her) is a writer and independent curator. She is interested in the issues of digital technology and its conditions of emergence in contemporary art. Among her recent curatorships are the interactive work Thresholds by Montreal artist Michel de Broin in the Âjagemô space of the Canada Council for the Arts, and a selection for Art souterrain 2021 « Chronométrie » in Montreal. Her exhibition The Dead Web – La fin, originally presented at Eastern Bloc in Montreal (2017), was co-produced by Molior in Europe: at the Mirage Festival in Lyon, at the Mapping Festival in Geneva, and at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest.
Previously in charge of development for ELEKTRA-BIAN (2006-2016), she is currently artistic codirector and project manager for Sporobole.
