Patrick Haggart (Stereo_IMG)CA/QC
Patrick Haggart (he/him) (aka Stereo_IMG) is a Montréal-based electronic music producer. With formal training in cinematic sound design (Vancouver Film School ‘10) and music engineering (Langara College ‘11), he continuously seeks untread paths in techno, experimental, and ambient music. His 2018 EP Matière Obscure (North of Nowhere Records) was created exclusively using sounds he captured from pieces of metal, glass, and wood, and it received a 9/10 from Mixmag. He has performed live hardware sets alongside techno legends Matteo Murphy and Pheek, at events like MUTEK Montréal and Exposé Noir, and as an opener for international headliners like Benjamin Damage and DJ Nobu. When he’s not making music, Patrick runs a barber shop; his fades are impeccable in both domains.
