Timothy Thomasson is an artist whose work questions the ways in which moving images are produced and consumed in historical and contemporary contexts, looking particularly at the effects of computer-generated images and emerging technologies on society, culture, aesthetics, and perception. His work has been exhibited at galleries and media festivals internationally.
Tatum Wilson is a producer and sound artist based in Montréal. His work explores the emotional, perceptual and mnemonic imprint of sound through experimental composition, installation, and spatial audio. Under the alias ‘operaa’ he creates a delicate hybrid of ambient and acousmatic music, with production that melds digital textures, organic soundscapes and deep, envel oping bass.

Film
Panorama: I’m Feeling Lucky is the fulldome iteration of a real-time, computer-generated installation that questions relationships to image, geography, virtual space, historical media technology, and mass data collection systems. Developed by artists Timothy Thomasson and Tatum Wilson during their residency at the Société des arts technologiques, the immersive installation features an infinitely evolving sonic and visual environment inspired by 19th century panorama painting, populated with thousands of figures pulled from Google Street View.
