After MUTEK.AR, the journey continues in Mexico: from October 9 to 12, 2025, MUTEK.MX ushers in a new era with a more compact format and expanded creative scope. This edition focuses on three sessions that favour intensity over abundance.
Building on its 20th anniversary, MUTEK.MX returns with a 21st edition featuring, among others, Autechre, Ash Fure, Florence To, and Jeff Mills.
This year, MUTEK Montréal is proud to present two Québec performances with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec:
Ouri is a Montreal-based composer, producer, and cellist whose music fuses classical heritage with electronic experimentation in an intimate, cinematic performance. Drawn from Frame of a Fauna, her sonic world blends cello, synths, and whispered vocals. After a world premiere at the 2025 edition of MUTEK Montréal, Ouri will present her performance D.C Live Trial in Mexico.

Seulement crafts a singular live A/V performance, Bricolage Architecture. This project explores a tactile dialogue between stop-motion animation and live modular synthesis, merging cut-out cardboard craftsmanship with the electroacoustic manipulation of vocal and flute loops. Her work exposes human vulnerability within technological perfection, celebrating bodily imperfections in an era dominated by artificial intelligence.

Tickets for the various events are available on the MUTEK Mexico website.
MUTEK Montréal continues its mission to highlight Québec and Canadian artists on the international stage, fostering both artistic innovation and intercultural exchange thanks to the financial support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
