KENYA20Hz BRIt Was All A Dream

Rio-based DJ, music producer and curator, KENYA20Hz, brings to MUTEK 2021 It Was All a Dream, a performance inspired by her latest research and authorial productions.
Along with the visual and cinematic interventions made by the digital artist Gabriel Koi (BR) in a performance that bounds sound and movement, the appalling intensity of the bass is driven by alternatives genres of electronic music as Post-dubstep, Braindance and Leftfield Techno, in a flow of psychoacoustic experiences presented in a sci-fi and hypnagogic scenario.

Appears as part of AMPLIFY D.A.I, an initiative of the British Council in partnership with MUTEK Montréal, MUTEK Buenos Aires, Artlab in Argentina, Oi Futuro in Brazil and Somerset House Studios in the UK. The programme is supported by Canada Council for the Arts, Instituto Nacional de la Música and Fundación Williams.
