The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) invites Quebec producers to submit their immersive creation projects (virtual, augmented, or mixed reality) for the 10th edition of the Atelier Grand Nord XR, taking place from April 24 to 29, 2026 in Outaouais, less than two hours from Montreal.
Two people per project will be invited to participate in the workshop: the producer and one member of the creative team.
The workshop will be followed by two days of company visits in Montreal on April 30 and May 1.
About Atelier Grand Nord XR
A spinoff of the traditional screenwriting-focused Atelier Grand Nord, Atelier Grand Nord XR centres on virtual, augmented, and mixed reality creation. It provides participants with a unique opportunity to discuss their immersive projects with consultants, enrich their reflection on their respective works, and foster the exchange of ideas and perspectives, while building connections that encourage future collaborations or co-productions.
Selected Quebec projects will each receive a grant of CAD $100,000 to develop their expertise.
For full details and eligibility criteria, consult the Quebec call for projects.
Submit your project
To submit, please complete the application form, including all required documents (as listed in the call for projects), no later than December 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
