From September 8 to 13, the 21st edition of the Festival took place in Montreal—and for the first time in MUTEK's history—simultaneously, on our virtual platform.

Over the course of six days, we enjoyed nearly 60 hybrid performances thanks to the bountiful creativity of artists from all over the world. Six days is short. This is why we are offering you a chance to, once again, immerse yourself in these audiovisual landscapes as we all enter a new period of confinement.

The Distant Arcades exhibition invites viewers to reflect on our shared experience living in newfound solitude through a series of works blending art and technology.
