Delphine Kim Thériault De Carufel CA/QCThe Phantom of Freud’s Wish

The Phantom of Freud’s Wish raises a number of pertinent questions to our modern age: Do robots have a gender? What happens when these automatons start to think for themselves? How should we view this artificial consciousness evolving beyond identity and gender? This new world, anchored in the liberation of masculine and feminine identities, births a desire to come out of one’s shell and to reconsider binary beings, all through the perspective of an androgynous robot who speaks of art.
