Frances Adair MckenzieCA/QC

Frances Adair Mckenzie is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montréal, whose practice includes video installation, sculpture animation and collaborative ventures.She holds a diploma in New Media from B.C.I.T. and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University. Her video work has been exhibited most recently in London and Berlin with collaborative projects in Iceland and Belgium. Frances has exhibited at Centre Clark in Montreal; the Musée d'art contemporain des Laurentides, Parisian Laundry and the Satosphere of the Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT), Montreal. Several of her animations and a stereoscopic virtual reality animation have been supported by the National Film Board of Canada. She is currently an artist in residency at the Darling Foundry for the 2019-2022 session.

Seeing God(dess) blurs the line between fantasy and reality, tackling one of the biggest problems of modern society: environmental colonialism and climate change.

An audiovisual performance that makes use of augmented reality as an instrument revealing the different layers of its composition.
