About Atelier Grand Nord XR (AGN XR)

Structured around virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality, AGN XR offers participants a valuable opportunity to discuss their immersive creation projects with consultants, enrich reflection on their respective works, and encourage the circulation of ideas and perspectives, as reflected in these testimonials from participants in previous editions.

“Moi fauve was one of the very first projects in our collective experiences format for the LB VR market, and a real proof of concept for the studio’s overall strategy. Our participation in Atelier Grand Nord XR was very useful in challenging the format, shaping the user journey, and testing with experts and other participants the poetic and powerful interactions we wanted to integrate into this beautiful sensory adventure.” – Voyelle Acker, Small Creative (France)

“AGN XR addresses an essential need from the conceptualization stage onward by offering an ideal framework to test and refine ideas. Exchanges with colleagues from the French-speaking industry also open up new possibilities for collaboration.” – Charles Stéphane Roy, Scintilla (Québec)

“AGN XR was an exceptional opportunity for us, both on a human and professional level. We met top-level experts and built meaningful relationships that helped strengthen our projects and our place within the immersive ecosystem. Collaborations with Canadian partners confirmed the compatibility of our funding models and became essential to the development of our projects.” – Julien Becker, Skill lab* (Luxembourg)

Since its creation in 2016, AGN XR has supported 78 projects involving 182 participants, mainly from Québec and several European countries, including France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Belgium (until 2022). Among these projects, around twenty have been exhibited or distributed, and around ten have won at least fifty awards on the international scene, confirming the reach and excellence of these works.
