Centered around virtual reality, augmented reality, or mixed reality, the Grand Nord XR Workshop offers a privileged opportunity for participants to discuss their projects with consultants, fuel reflection on their respective works, foster the exchange of ideas and perspectives, and create connections aimed at facilitating future collaborations.

About previous editions: 94% of participants found that the program helped develop potential partnerships - 76% of them believe they developed relationships that will be useful for their current or future projects - 82% of participants acknowledge that the program advanced their project.

The Workshop brings together francophone XR project teams in development (two people per project, including the producer and a member of the creative team) from France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Quebec. Selected Quebec projects will receive a grant of $100,000 CAD to develop their expertise.

Thanks to the collaboration of Xn Québec, the cohort will benefit from a series of visits to digital experience studios in Montreal, including Irregular, Dpt., Lab 7, SAT, and PHI Studio. These visits will provide an opportunity to engage with industry professionals, discover unique creative spaces, and become familiar with the vast playground that is Montreal.
