Max Cooper — 3D/AV

Few have been more successful in exploring and furthering the intersection between electronic music, visual art, science and technology than Max Cooper. Having earned a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Nottingham, Cooper simultaneously developed a fondness for electronic music, juggling his studies and a resident DJ spot at a local techno club.

His work carries an emotional resonance and sensory immersion, often focusing on humanity’s place in the world. He merges electronic music and visual art with scientific enquiry through installations, live performance, immersive audio-visual experiences, a range of digital media and award-winning music videos.

This time, Max Cooper is taking his brand new surround 3D/AV show to the SAT, using a larger projection canvas than ever before. This performance brings the gauze screen to give another layer of mind-melting immersion into the audio-visual show.
