Québec in the Spotlight: MUTEK Continues Its European Tour at Bright Festival Connect from October 9 to 13
Our international tour continues in Latin America with three MUTEK festival editions in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico, as well as in Europe at Bright Festival Connect in Leipzig, Germany.
Founded in Florence, Italy, Bright is a digital creativity festival that brings together international artists, technology companies, and diverse audiences for a program featuring installations, performances, and numerous educational activities.
Since 2020, Bright has organized an annual “Connect” edition at the iconic cultural venue Kunstkraftwerk in Leipzig as an international cooperation project, promoting creativity as a means of connection between cultures and countries. Since its inception, each edition has highlighted a country or region of the world. This year, Quebec is in the spotlight, in collaboration with MUTEK and with the support of the Government of Quebec.
Main show of this 2024 edition, Québec Perspectives is a curated selection of works by 10 Quebec artists and studios, showcased from October 10 to 13 in the Maschinenhalle, the immersive hall of Kunstkraftwerk.
