A variation of the traditional Atelier Grand Nord scriptwriting workshop, but focusing on virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed reality, Atelier Grand Nord XR offers a privileged opportunity for participants to discuss their projects with consultants, to stimulate reflection on their respective works, to stimulate the circulation of ideas and points of view, all the while creating links with the objective of encouraging peer work on future productions or co-productions.

The selected Quebec projects will receive a $30,000 grant to develop their expertise. In addition to the nine plenary meetings and individual meetings with the consultants, meetings between the teams will be organized as well as studio visits in each of the partner countries.

Each year, the participants of this workshop emphasize that it is an exceptional experience that promotes exchanges between francophone creators, that helps them to explore new avenues and develop useful relationships for their current or future projects.
