General Overview

Located in the heart of La Fontaine Park, the Théâtre de Verdure is an open-air venue offering free cultural programming all summer long. The site is wheelchair accessible. Details can be found in the sections below.

The venue will operate on a first-come, first-served basis given that the entrance for the 3 performances is free.

Doors typically open 30 minutes before showtime. If the venue reaches maximum capacity, entry will close.

In the case of severe weather or storms, performances may be canceled last-minute, with announcements made on social media and the official website.

No outside alcohol is permitted at any time.

Space Access and Navigation

The purpose of this section is to provide information on navigating the site, accessibility and a general overview of the space's layout and operation.

Accessibility

The site is wheelchair accessible, stroller-friendly, and offers ground-level entry and accessible restrooms.

A dedicated entrance and approximately twenty reserved spaces are available for wheelchair users.

Service dogs with proper identification are permitted.

Restrictions

Glass bottles, bicycles, and animals (except service dogs) are not allowed during events.

If maximum capacity is reached, entry will be closed for safety reasons.

Relaxation Areas

The park surrounding Théâtre de Verdure serves as a large relaxation area open to everyone. Its green spaces and outdoor amenities offer an ideal setting to rest, picnic, or simply enjoy the open-air atmosphere.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted in all indoor and outdoor areas.

GRIP kiosk and harm-reduction volunteers

Please note: No GRIP kiosk or harm-reduction volunteers will be present at this venue.
