Focusing on virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed reality, l’Atelier Grand Nord XR Workshop offers a privileged opportunity for participants (two people per project, i.e. the producer and a member of the creative team), from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Quebec, to discuss their projects with experts and to create links with the aim of encouraging peer work on future productions or co-productions.
Once again this year, the selected Quebec projects will receive a grant of $30,000 CAD to develop their expertise.
This fifth edition is organized by the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), in collaboration with MUTEK, with the support of the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), Film Fund Luxembourg, screen.brussels and hub.brussels, Cinéforom and the Fondation de formation continue pour le cinéma et l'audiovisuel (FOCAL), the Canada Media Fund (CMF), the National Film Board (NFB), and Xn Québec.
