e-Dancer, Ma Sha, Aurora Halal, Mok-T & Bar Rubinstein, Loidis: A Glimpse of What's to Come for MUTEK 2025

In just a few months, MUTEK Montréal will present its 26th edition, taking place from August 19 to 25, 2025. We present to you five artists and performances from the first wave of our lineup below.
This year, you will have the opportunity to witness a special father-son collaboration live: Kevin Saunderson teams up with his son, Dantiez, on their new e-Dancer album. Their performance blends Kevin's signature groove-driven legacy with Dantiez’s dynamic energy, delivering authentic Detroit techno to Montréal.

Known for her soundscapes that ricochet between techno, bass, and leftfield experimentation, New York-based producer and DJ Ma Sha will be performing her first live ever for MUTEK Montréal. Her multifaceted approach, spanning bold sonic explorations and community-driven initiatives, highlights her unique position in today’s electronic landscape.

Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Aurora Halal will present her hypnotic and psychedelic live performances, reimagining underground electronic music with a singular, mind-expanding approach.

Local duo Mok-T & Bar Rubinstein, part of the visual collective Isotone, make their MUTEK‘s debut with their audiovisual project Surface Healing, inspired by the calming physiological dive reflex, drifting between introspection and bursts of intensity to explore art's role in emotional tranquility and renewal.

Loidis, also known as Huerco S., joins the lineup, offering lush, swirling ambient techno and textured dub soundscapes from his acclaimed 2024 album, One Day.
