For its residency on Rinse FR, MUTEK presents the live performance of Canadian artist Emissive, recorded during the 24th edition of the festival in Montreal last August.
Toronto’s Emissive brought his special blend of cerebral dreamy dance music to the dancefloor. A reflection around memory and futurism, Emissive’s set explored the legacy of black music histories and how it informed his past practice. Sonically, he took us on a journey spanning from experimental ambient to referential and forward-thinking club themes.
