MUTEKLIVE of the week : 300 - 302
Every year, during the festival, we record the performances to let you relive those unique moments shared on the dance floor. This week, discover 100% local performances with Amselysen & Racine, Anatohl and Atamone
Amselysen & Racine
For their first stint at MUTEK as a duo, the two artists, who had collaborated in various ways before, showcased a convergence of their respective practices: Amselysen, known for their chaotic and iconoclastic interventions and a unique sense of subversion; Racine, renowned for his mastery of spatial and temporal gesturality, often accompanied by a lush sonic vocabulary.
Anatohl
Drawing inspiration from 90s-2000s Deep house, Dub techno, Electro, Minimal and Ambient, Anatohl proposes a dynamic and visceral musical patchwork; groovy and at times bittersweet, melancholic and ethereal, filled with cavernous bass, sparkling percussion and stellar layers.
Atamone
Want to lounge and forget all your worries? Like lo fi hip hop beats to relax to? Montreal-born Inuk beatmaker Atamone's got you covered. His shimmering sunshine beats and effortless breezy melodies are automatic good vibes.
