For its residency on Rinse France, MUTEK presents a hybrid live performance by Siete Catorce, recorded at the 25th edition of the festival in Montreal in August 2024.
Siete Catorce, the musical project of Mexicali-born Marco Polo Gutierrez, is known for blending Mexican and Latin American influences with club-driven energy and powerful rhythms. He also co-runs the Los Angeles-based label Subreal alongside producer Amazondotcom.
His performances typically combine cumbia, dubstep, and pre-Hispanic tribal sounds, drawing inspiration from the Ruidosón movement.
