Every year, during the festival, we record the performances to let you relive those unique moments shared on the dance floor. This week, last but not least with Ura, .VRIL, x/o and µ-Ziq & ID:Mora.
Ura
Ura will be presenting a new electronic work composed and performed live specifically for MUTEK. Through the use of programs such as Max MSP and Ableton, Ura assembles broken sounds and ideas into something intentional and beautiful, interpreting these sounds through his idiosyncratic approach to sound design and melody.

.VRIL
Known for his ability to craft immersive atmospheres, .VRIL showcased the gamut of his Dub Techno sounds at MUTEK, focusing on tracks from his latest album Animist. The musical performance was enhanced by a stimulating visual environment, thus creating a truly comprehensive experience.

x/o
Fusing breakbeats, with elements of solemn ambience, distorted metal, and trip-hop, Vietnamese-Canadian electronic music producer x/o's Chaos Butterfly follows an anti-hero navigating trauma through whirlwinds of grief and anger; a vengeful spirit who finds true strength in inner healing and forgiveness. It's an allegory for transcending societal concepts of gender and a cathartic journey towards self-acceptance.

µ-Ziq & ID:Mora
With this performance, Mike Paradinas (µ-Ziq) embarks upon an intrepid and emotional journey into the jungle genre and the most bittersweet IDM typical of his work. Videographer and visual artist ID:Mora is the perfect partner for this project; together, they deliver an intense audiovisual adventure as humorous as it is delirious. Their collaborative debut at the Lunchmeat Festival (Prague) is remembered as one of the most surprising moments of the festival – to be experienced at this year’s edition of MUTEK.
