Halina Rice is a London-based electronic music producer and A/V artist working at the intersection of music, art and technology to create otherworldly immersive experiences. Using multiple effects and sampling, she creates music that spans from abstract sound design to beat-driven IDM, as encapsulated in her album Elision, released on Injazero Records in 2022. Met with critical acclaim, the album was described as "a captivating glimpse of her eclectic sound world" by Electronic Sound Magazine. Her debut album REDUX was released via independent label Blurred Recordings in 2017, followed by a series of self-released tracks via AWAL.
Working with visual designers, she also incorporates elements of mixed reality and generative art into her practice. Her performances and installations are frequently presented in spatial sound in physical venues as well as metaverse and VR environments.

Halina Rice brings her unique immersive A/V live set to MUTEK in a show described as part rave, part art-happening. Blending emotionally evocative electronic music with impactful visuals and bespoke lightshow, the performance unites art, music and tech to deliver a mesmerizing experience. With a keen focus in her work on immersive sound, the show will be delivered in spatial audio to enhance the experience.

Presented as part of the Keychange project, led by Reeperbahn Festival, PRS Foundation and Musikcentrum Öst, with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

Musician and A/V artist, Halina Rice is renowned for her vivid, eclectic style. Her work ranges from evocative and melancholic soundscapes to beat-driven tracks.
