Every year, during the festival, we record the performances to let you relive those unique moments shared on the dance floor. This week, enjoy two American performances and a DJ set straight from Berlin with AUX 88, Brett Bolton and Cinthie.
AUX 88
Aux 88’s live performances very much feel like a rousing old-school Hip-hop show. Though the latter certainly has legitimate claims on Aux 88’s sound, so do Techno, Miami Bass, Trip-hop and Funk. Still, the Detroit-based pair never aims to fit a narrow definition, but rather strives to make people dance, by any means necessary.
Brett Bolton
Brett Bolton explores the various phases of matter by gradually transforming the surface of a custom-made drum projection instrument into its solid, gaseous, liquid and plasma states.
Cinthie (DJ Set)
DJ, producer, founder of multiple labels and owner of the Elevate record store, Cinthie has strived to nurture Berlin’s house music scene over the past few decades, and has become one of its leading figures.
